The Remstar Shuttle™ XP Vertical Lift Module (VLM) can be equipped with selectable access pick windows to effectively link work areas and facilitate material sharing in storage and retrieval operations.
The Shuttle XP VLM is an enclosed system of vertically arranged trays, an ergonomically positioned extraction platform and computerized controls for automated retrieval of stored materials. Using Cubestar® technology, each tray is automatically scanned and stored in the Shuttle XP VLM in the smallest possible space, maximizing vertical storage density.
By locating pick windows in various areas of the unit, workzones in different departments or at different stages of cycle can be easily and effectively linked to take optimum advantage of the Shuttle XP VLM’s exceptional storage density and improve the efficiency of stored items retrieval. Additional pick windows can be added pre or post-installation.
