The new Shuttle XP® VLM integrated weight management system dynamically monitors and stores various capacity trays within one unit, increasing flexibility. Tray loads ranging from 250 pounds per tray to 1100 pounds can be stored in the same unit, saving valuable floor space and equipment acquisition costs.
The system’s high storage capacity is maintained by a monitoring system which continuously checks individual tray loads and total unit load. At the same time, height sensors automatically scan the trays space needs within one inch increments, providing optimal use of storage space.
Customers can also attain increased productivity through the system’s automatic tray delivery speeds for reduced wait time. Delivery speed is automatically selected based on tray load capacity. Trays with light loads are transported at maximum speed while those carrying heavier loads at the fastest and safest speeds, increasing productivity and reducing operator wait time.
The standard Shuttle XP VLM can handle loads up to 150,000 lbs and reach up to 65 feet tall to fully maximize overhead storage cube. Standard tray widths up to 120” and depths to 34” provide even greater space savings and increased capacity within the same unit.
